Scribner's Illustrated Magazine for Girls and Boys
Teacher-to-Teacher
Initially, this collection may seem like it only pertains to Language Arts teachers; however, the article cites many important non-fiction writers—such as E. B. White and Rachel Carson—and raises the importance of being able to trace the development of writers (and all professionals) to see how the experiences one has growing up affects one’s adulthood. It also touches on the importance of writing in all disciplines, moving away from “writing across the curriculum” to “writing in the curriculum.”
