Teacher-to-Teacher

The American Heritage article does a nice job introducing the topic of historical distance and determining an effective presidency. Using the speeches at the beginning and end of Reagan’s time in office contrasted with the discussions of his presidency with a comparison to Clinton’s presidency along with the political cartoon will provide plenty of material for students to debate Reagan’s place in history.
