Teacher-to-Teacher
This collection allows you to focus on the nature of history as a discipline, how it has changed overtime (particularly with technological innovation) and how it relates to other disciplines. History requires the application of certain skills and understandings that are honed through explicit and repetitive use. This notion of the practice of doing history is not new; in 1377 Ibn Khaldun lamented the sorry state of historians’ skill sets and even suggests that knowing trivial details aren’t as important as understanding large trends.
